Hi everyone! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. In todays blog we will be writing about OL Reign v Portland Thorns FC game and the Sky Blue FC v North Carolina Courage game.
OL Reign v Portland Thorns FC
The goalkeepers were kept busy during this game. Even though there were a ton of shots neither team was able to score. The game ended in a 0-0 tie.
Sky Blue FC v North Carolina Courage
Right out of the gate both teams were going strong. Seven minutes into the game Sam Mewis volleyed the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal! North Carolin were already up 1-0! But they weren't done yet, In the fifty-seventh minute Crystal Dunn received the ball inside the box and shot it into the bottom right corner! Both teams took shots afterwards but neither team was able to score again. The final score ended up being North Carolina 2 Sky Blue FC 0.
