Netherlands v USWNT

Hi everyone! We hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. We apologize for not writing in a while, school and soccer has increased a lot. I'm sure everyone was very excited to hear that the USWNT was going to be having a match against the Netherlands. Lets get it started!

Line up

In goal we had #1 Alyssa Naeher. In the back on defense we had #19 Crystal Dunn, #4 Becky Sauerbrunn, #7 Abby Dahlkemper and #5 Kelly O'Hara. Then in midfield there was #16 Rose Lavelle, #8 Julie Ertz and #3 Sam Mewis. Finally in the front on offense there was #17 Tobin Heath, #23 Christen Press, and #6 Lynn Williams.

Game

This was a very evenly matched game. We would say that each team had the ball an even amount. In the first half in the forty-first minute Rose Lavelle shot an amazing ball from the top of the box in to the upper left corner and we have to say, it was amazing to watch! In the second half Kristie Mewis, Sam Mewis's sister got subbed in and thank goodness she did because in the seventieth minute she shot an amazing ball into the lower right corner! The final score ended up being US 2, Netherlands 0. We have attached the links to the full game and highlights if you want to check them out!
