As you guys might know the NWSL has put together the Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup is a tournament that all nine teams will be competing in, instead of having a full season. So in this blog we will be going over all of the information on it.

All nine teams will play four games in the Preliminary round. Here is the Preliminary Round

Saturday, June 27- Chicago Red Stars v Orlando Pride and North Carolina Courage v Portland Thorns FC
Tuesday, June 30- Washington Spirit v Utah Royals FC and Sky Blue FC v OL Reign
Wednesday, July 1- Houston Dash v North Carolina Courage and Portland Thorns FC v Orlando Pride.
Saturday, July 4- Chicago Red Stars v Utah Royals and Washington Spirit v OL Reign
Sunday, July 5- North Carolina Courage v Orlando Pride and Houston Dash v Sky Blue FC
Wednesday, July 8- Washington Spirit v Portland Thorns FC and Utah Royals FC v OL Reign
Thursday, July 9- Orlando Pride v Sky Blue FC and Chicago Red Stars v Houston Dash
Sunday, July 12- Utah Royals FC v North Carolina Courage and Portland Thorns FC v OL Reign
Saturday, July 13- Chicago Red Stars v Sky Blue FC and Washington Spirit v Houston Dash
The top eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals a.k.a the Knockout round. While fans are not aloud to attend the games, the opening game and final will air live on CBS. All other games will be played live on CBS All Access. In case you miss any games, they will re-air on CBS Sports Network.
The preliminary and quarterfinal games will be played at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah. The Semi-Finals and Final match will be played at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
