The USWNT started there games off right with a four nothing win against Haiti on January 28th with goals from Christen Press, Lynn Williams, Lindsey Horan, and Carli Lloyd. Last but certainly not least the USWNT played February seventh and faced off against Mexico. Mexico was the second-place (Canada was first) team of group B. The USWNT started the game of strong with a goal by Rose Lavelle in the 5th minute! Then just nine minutes later Samantha Mewis scored! The final score of this game ended up being 4-0 with another goal from Samantha Mewis and one last goal from Christen Press.

We also wanted to go over the top goal scores because there were a lot of goals scored. Here are the stats: Christen Press and Lindsey Horan both scored 5 goals, Sam Mewis scored 4, Lynn Williams, Rose Lavelle and Jessica McDonald all scored to goals and Carli Lloyd and Tobin Heath scored 1 goal.
